In Ep. 2 of Running a Marathon, I'm joined by arguably the best and one of the most experienced Sports Physiotherapists in Australia, Justin Barich. His list of professional accolades is too long to fully explore but includes treating professional Rugby League and Rugby Union teams. Australian teams, Formula 1 drivers and the New York Jets (NFL).
Justin is also a marathon runner himself boasting an impressive 2:48 personal best and having competed in various top level races such as the New York, Sydney and Boston Marathons.
In this podcast we talk about training loads, nutrition and injury prevention! He also drops loads of useful tips and tricks regarding running pace, what not to eat and how to tie my shoes properly!!
